Goshen
1977 Birchaven
Goshen is a 23' Birchaven. Most of the 12,921 GMC motorhomes manufactured from 1973 to 1978, were made entirely by GMC at their Pontiac, Michigan plant. They came in two sizes - most were 26' in length, but a few, like Goshen were only 23' long so they could fit in a standard parking space.
Making Goshen even more unique, is the fact that the Birchaven model had their interiors fitted out by the coach company Coachmen, instead of GMC. Premium changes Coachmen made were to use cherry wood throughout the interior, and they even included a mini-bathtub in their bathroom layout.
Goshen can sleep up to four on its three beds. The front dinette becomes a double bed, and the rear couch becomes bunk beds, with an upper bunk that kids love, and a double size lower bunk.
